Give much and give well.
It is the only way to
Loose the bird that is
Your spirit to fly free and
Joyous in expansive skies.
Hello and welcome!
I'm so glad you stopped by.
I grew up in the Inland Empire of California at the foot of the San Bernardino mountains and make my home in Highland. Whether hiking, walking, or sitting silentlyin the early morning, being in nature renews and inspires me. I love taking day trips to the beach or discovering a new town, puttering in my garden, reading, and long conversations about creativity and becoming our true selves.
When I’m not writing poetry, I paint for fun with acrylics, play the piano, cuddle with my cat, or enjoy being with my family and friends. You can check out my book of poetry .
I hope that as you explore these pages, you will find encouragement for your soul.
I love how the author manages to weave nature, emotion, and the senses. This writing style is in a category all its own and I think would appeal to readers of many different walks of life - but mainly those who are eager to savor the intensity of all life has to offer.

Perfect for when I have just a minute, but I need to use that minute to pause and reflect by reading a beautiful poem.
LOVE this little treasure of a book. Each morning I read a poem and have a small insight and pause of contemplation. This is a beautiful little book and a perfect gift for someone who loves poetry!
